| -- Ah, a get rich quick scheme. I was a member of the band Beat the Devil. As usual, band funds were low. We were looking to record our first LP and I came across an advertisement for a Design Competition in Metropolis Magazine. We planned to use the loot to pay for our record. Ha! This competition is generally won by fancy pants architectural firms. So much for Rock-n-Roll being a “Big Idea.” This book was our entry. I printed and bound the book myself. -- |
